Description
I used to work for an archeologist, so a while ago I was able to get permission from a museum to go in and handle some of the items from their permanent collection, which was in storage. I was drawn to this decorated Caddo jar by the pattern and the harmonious shape and proportions of the vessel. I suppose the red glaze on the pot got me thinking about riffing on the color red.
